We can cater for children adults and people with varying degree's of leaning abilities.
We carve spoons and bowls and all wood is locally sourced from sustainable woodland. We also do bench making, willow weaving. For the younger children we offer fairy crown making, twiggy lanterns and dream catchers workshops, but adults are also welcome.
Demonstrations are available of traditional skills, including the use of a shave horse and lathe. Our demonstrations and workshops leave no carbon footprint as we only use traditional methods and don't require electricity. This means we are happy to work indoors or outdoors.
We do seasonal workshops, to include Christmas decorations, halloween ghoulishness, and Mothers day gifts.
We are all fully trained community workers who have worked with children and young adults with challenging behavior, deprived communities and people recovering from substance abuse.
On a larger scale we have also have vast experience in delivering workshops at community events, fetes and festivals.
We are very flexible and can deliver full day, half day and weekly sessions. Taster sessions are also available.
Chief Co ordinator Coral Devlin is also available to work with groups throughout the whole participation and involvement process to include engaging people, to create action plans, designing training programs followed up by applying for funding and delivering the sessions. This is available to community groups, local councils, service providers and individuals.
In the past she has worked in deprived area's in Derby, Holyhead and Wrexham within Welsh Assembly Communities First Program and Neighbourhood Renewal, sucessfully motivating people to create positive change.
